guest blogger- jawnny of "jawnny says..."

guess who! my bro jawnny has AWL the MAC, so ifigured she might as well break me off a lil guest blogger post.. disclaimer: you don't have to use MAC products. you would think they were paying us... they not doe. so let's get into it, shall we?*

for a daytime summer look: throw on a basic tank, some trues, & platform sandals and you’re all set.

1. start with MAC Engraved Powerpoint eye pencil to line the upper&lower lid.

2. go over it with Rapid Penultimate eye liner (also by MAC) for a bolder POP.

3. apply Black Tied Velvet eye shadow (MAC) to the upper lid just above your liner to create an almost smoky effect

4. repeat step 3 the on the lower lid using Atlantic Blue eye shadow (MAC)

5. use your brush to fill in your eyelid using Rule eye shadow (MAC)

6. finish off this look with MAC’s Zoom Lash mascara in Lofty Brown and Dior Addict lipstick in #465 Singulier

for a bolder look: i don’t usually get into bright shadow and bright lips paired together, but this popped. a light hand will keep you from looking like a clown. keep your outfit simple; a solid maxi works.

1.start with MAC Engraved eye pencil on the upper&lower lids

2.go over it with MAC’s Rapid Penultimate eye liner, creating a bolder line on the upper lid.

3.using a smaller shadow brush, apply Atlantic Blue eye shadow from mid-way in between the liner on the lower lid and stroke outwards, creating a cat eye

4.grab a larger brush and starting from the inward corner of the upper lid, lightly apply the shadow. apply more pressure as you get closer to the line that you created on the bottom lid

5.use your finger tips to lightly smudge the blue shadow on the outward corners

6.finish by applying Maybelline New York Falsies Volum’ Express mascara

7. MOST importantly pleaseeee DAB on MAC’s Impassioned lipstick to avoid the clown lip. matte lipsticks are tricky like that-- don’t find out the hard way.

for a simple yet edgy look: (i had a mohawk so everythang was edgy lol) some distressed jeans&a black stiletto or platform. you can achieve this look using any brightly colored eye shadow. Electric Eel by MAC is my fave.

1.start with Maybelline New York Mineral Power Sunrise bronzer, lightly brushing it onto your t-zone

2.apply MAC Engraved ye pencil on your upper&lower lids

3. create a bold line using MAC’s Electric Eel eye shadow on your upper&lower lids

4.complete this look by applying MAC’s Blackout Zoom Lash mascara and Revlon’s Crème Lipstick in 640 Blackberry. you can finish with the lipgloss of your choice on top for an added sheen (i used Victoria’s Secret mint lip shine) MUAH!*
